Job Description
The Salesforce Technical Architect will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to translate business requirements into scalable architectural solutions and ensure the long-term stability, performance, security, and maintainability of the Salesforce ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end technical design of Salesforce solutions across Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Public Sector Solutions (PSS), LPI Data Model, and custom applications.
Develop and maintain Salesforce architectural standards, integration patterns, and technical best practices.
Design and develop Salesforce applications using Apex Classes, Triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flow, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, and OmniStudio.
Work extensively with FlexCards, OmniScripts, DataRaptors, and Integration Procedures.
Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs aligned with Salesforce platform capabilities and enterprise architecture.
Provide technical guidance to development teams, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to architecture, security, and development standards.
Design and oversee integrations between Salesforce and external systems using APIs, middleware, and data pipelines.
Conduct impact assessments for new features, enhancements, integrations, and Salesforce platform releases.
Ensure system performance, data integrity, security, compliance, role hierarchy, sharing rules, and data governance.
Support deployment strategies, CI/CD pipelines, environment management, version control, and release management.
Participate as a Salesforce SME in requirements workshops, design reviews, architecture discussions, and solution validation.
Stay current with Salesforce releases, new capabilities, architectural patterns, and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Extensive experience designing and implementing large-scale Salesforce solutions.
Strong expertise in Salesforce configuration, Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), APIs, and integration frameworks.
Strong experience with complex data modeling, security architecture, and performance optimization.
Proficiency with DevOps tools, CI/CD, Git/version control, deployment, and release management.
Salesforce Developer Certifications (PDI/PDII) are required.
