About the Job

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.


Experience

The candidate must have skill and five (5) yearscombined experience in database administration for the following database platforms.


Expert in SQL Server 2012, and above
Oracle 10g and above
Experience with Azure SQL is a plus
Experience with AWS SQL tools is a plus
Experience with managing ArcGIS for Server is a plus
Experience with GIS and spatial databases

Primary Job Duties/ Tasks

This resource will primarily be tasked with performing Database (DB2, SQL Server, Oracle) planning and operationalactivities

1. Daily operational and database administrationactivities

2. Plan, design, implement, supportfor database structures

3. Conduct database performance monitoringand tuning

4. Develop and maintain database administrationprocedures and documentation

5. Perform SQL Code reviews

6. Assist with training/mentoringother technical staff This resource may also be required to perform other database or infrastructure activities as requested

7. Support database activities forapplication enhancements and rewrites.
